CFP: "The Politics of Marriage and Family"
MIDWEST SOCIOLOGICAL SOCIETY MEETING
MINNEAPOLIS, MN  MARCH 31-APRIL 3, 2005

I am organizing a session for the 2005 Midwest Sociological Society Meeting, to be held in Minneapolis March 31-April 3, on "The Politics of Marriage and Family."  The session title is intentionally broad, meant to cover everything from the internal politics of family life to national and transnational politics concerning marriage and family.  Sociologists who are doing work that might fit within this session topic are encouraged to submit a paper title and abstract to me at hull@umn.edu by the submission deadline of October 30.
